The Curtain is Lowering

We all knew the final game at Yankee stadium would some day be here, but we never knew how it would make us feel.  Whether you like the Yankees or not, you have to admit that this stadium is a very special place.  Not only home to the Yankees, the NY football Giants played there, concerts, boxing matches, and 3 vistis by Pope’s.  I have been to the House that Ruth Built twice and both times I have left in awe.  The Yankees are 1-1 when I have been but you just feel the history walking through the halls and seeing all the championship banners and momument park gets better each time, although nothing changes.  As the curtain come down for the final time tonight after the game against the orioles, their are so many memories within those walls.  What are some of your favorite memories of Yankee Stadium.  Email us and let us know and we will rellive some on our next episode of Yankeescast.  I will talk to you after the final out is recorded in the “House that Ruth Built”.
